1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
Fly with Leyann to another state.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Unfortunately I did not make any resolutions for 2007. but I will make a list of goals for 2008. Notice I said goals and not resolutions, I feel resolutions set you up just to break them. Goals are something you plan to achieve to improve yourself.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Not that I know of.
5. What countries did you visit?
None. I've never been out of the USA. I intend to change that.
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
Less debt. More money.
7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
February 5th - First day at The Care of Trees
February 25th - New Car
March 30th - 3rd year anniversary with Leyann
May 17th - Halo 3 Beta
May 25th - 27th - North Carolina - Animazement
June 29 - July 1 - Trip to Parents for Birthday
July 8th - The Tim & Berry Birthday Blast
August 24th - 26th - Went up with Leyann and her parents to Michigan to see my parents
September 7th - White Sox Game with Matt, Sue, and Michelle from work
September 19th - Quit Acen staff
October 26th - Leyann and I went to see George Lopez live.
November 15th - Saw a Star Trek episode on the big screen.
November 24th - Car accident.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Succeeding in getting a dream career job and thriving in it. Quitting ACen to do my own thing and not work ridiculous conditions.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Quitting ACen. I hate quitting anything. There was more potential to grow and keep doing cool designs and leading a team. But I was not prepared to sacrifice my free time with the people I love as well as my own personal free time.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
- I was sick for a few days back in March. And I remember Stephen Poon and Angie came over with ginger ale and egg drop soup. <3
- Walked/Ran for the first time in ages back in November, did many stretches afterwards, and the next day I could hardly walk because my leg muscles were so sore.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
XBOX 360 and Halo 3.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Leyann, for being an amazing girlfriend. Matt and Sue at work for making work fun and being good leaders and an inspiration.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
No one really, just a couple misunderstandings.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent, credit card, student loan bills, insurance, car payments, cell phone, food.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
3rd anniversary with Leyann. Animazement. Starting at The Care of Trees.
16. What song will always remind you of 2007?
"Changes" - David Bowie
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Happier
ii. thinner or fatter? Maybe slightly fatter? :/
iii. richer or poorer? Slightly richer, because of a raise. Poorer because I have more debt.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Traveling.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Spending.
20. How did you spend this Christmas?
With family and driving back to IL with my sister. Then relaxing at Leyann's for a couple hours.
22. Did you fall in love in 2007?
Stayed IN love.
23. How many one-night stands?
None.
24. What was your favorite TV program?
HEROES was big for me in 2007.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Nope.
26. What was the best book you read?
"The Fall of Reach" Yes... I know its a HALO novel, but it's one of the few books I read this year.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
28. What did you want and get?
New job, new car, Laptop, XBOX 360, Halo 3, Halo 3 Covenant Plasma Rifle Replica
29. What did you want and not get?
A better TV, a futon.
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Gee... this is a tough one... I've seen more movies this year than previous.... probably Shoot em' Up and Sweeney Todd.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
My birthday was on a Wednesday, so I worked. But had a birthday lunch with co-workers at Bob Chin's Restaurant. I turned 25.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
More money. Seriously. I know money can't bring happiness, but it would have made some headaches go away.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
"Personal Fashion Concept"? Hmmm... business casual?
34. What kept you sane?
Leyann. Friends. Family.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
The HEROES cast. Mainly, Masi Oka.
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
The War.
37. Who did you miss?
All of my out of state friends, Mom, Dad, and Matthew.
38. Who was the best new person you met?
All of my new co-workers from this year.

Life is too short to get worked up over the small details. Take one thing at a time, deal with it, and move on. Don't stew.
