Our Garden!
Today Mike and I went to Home Depot and got a bunch of flowers. We spent the day planting them in our new bed outside the front door. It looks really neat. We have a nice curb appeal now. It doesn't look the same as it did when we moved in here. We have been here since August and I just love being a home-owner! I am so proud of myself. I think our next project might be the bathroom and the stairs to match our new wood floors downstairs.
On Monday Mike and I start our new jobs. I am working in Palatine as a Dental Assistant and Mike is working in um... I forget where but it is close to home at DK Heating Systems. Mike will be so much happier in his new job and so will I, I guess. It is a lot of change for us but I think it will all work out for the best.
We are thinking of this as a new chapter in our lives. I hope all will go well. Well, I was taking a break from gardening so I have to get back to it and get the grill going for steaks. TTFN.
