[hey a new spock. or he thinks its a new spock. actually, he's more just trying to figure out which one it is. this all gets very confusing after a while]

[runs smack! into Spock as she wasn't looking where she's going, falling down in surprise]

[eyes widen as she realizes] Hey, you're Spock...I mean Commander Spock...sir. [she keeps forgetting she's an Ensign now in all of this, trying to hide her fangirl giddiness as best as possible]
