--A Belated Introduction--

[Spock had met some people when he arrived, but currently he can be found wandering around, taking in his new surroundings and doubtless trying to make some sense of it- somehow.

It appears, however, that for all of his thinking and analysis, he can only think of one word to describe this place.]

Intriguing.

[He pauses in a few places to survey ( Read more... )

[walking around, completely lost but not minding because it is a pretty big place...and Jackie likes exploring]

[turning around as she walks, trying to look everywhere at once]
Wow, is this place big...

[runs smack! into Spock as she wasn't looking where she's going, falling down in surprise]

[He bends down and offers his hand to assist her up]

Are you alright?

Yeah...I think so. [takes his hand gratefully, blushing a bit at her clumsiness]

[eyes widen as she realizes] Hey, you're Spock...I mean Commander Spock...sir. [she keeps forgetting she's an Ensign now in all of this, trying to hide her fangirl giddiness as best as possible]

That is correct. Might I ask who you are?

Jackie....I mean, Ensign Jackie Spencer. I was trying to figure out where everyone had gotten to. This doesn't look like the Enterprise anymore. I don't even know how I got here.

...I hope Dr. McCoy doesn't mind I never got those disks delivered that he wanted.

From what I understand, this is a place called "Starbase Inifinity." I do not believe that anyone here knows how they arrived.

A Starbase? [she looks around again...with an idea] So it has to be orbiting something...right? Like a planet? Maybe if we find out what, we can figure out where "here" is exactly.

[trying not to look at his face because she'll just staare if she does because it's Spock! She's talking with Spock and her smile at the situation cannot be hidden]

What is more important than "where" is "when." It seems that this place serves to harbor multiple versions of ourselves from various timelines and realities.

...I haven't seen any clocks around so that's out. Anyone try to access the computer yet?

[wait, did he say multiple versions of...] There's more people here? From St- ah I mean, from the Enterprise?

icanhaslogic May 28 2009, 06:54:49 UTC
From several Enterprises, I believe. I have already encountered two versions of the captain and there could be many more.

Sah-weet! [catches herself, that probably wasn't a good reaction to the situation] I mean, probably not sweet for any of us but...I've always wanted to meet...

If there's people from multiple Enterprises here, this could be a rare opportunity to meet people I wouldn't otherwise.

Any enemies or just good guys so far?

I have only encountered allies, but I only arrived yesterday.

I only arrived today...presuming this is still the same day that is.

It does seem womewhat difficult to determine a specific date.

Ok....so we need a clock....and a map. Somehow.

Everyone is stuck here? Nobody's been able to leave?

I have been operating according to the stardate when I "left."

There does not appear to be a way off the starbase, but I am as yet unfamiliar with its full specifications.
