Youtube.com is pretty darned neat. Except if you want to see a video again, you have to go back to the site. And you can't save the video to your HD.

Or can you?

After the video finishes downloading, look into your browser's cache. View the files by date, and make sure to display the filesize as well. You will probably have a very large file named something like "opr05UQW.tmp" (I have Opera 9).

Copy it elsewhere in your PC. Rename the extension to FLV. Get FLVPlayer. Voila, you can view it offline.

Yeah, there are other ways. Firefox has a plugin. But this way was pretty simple, especially since I'd already had FLVPlayer installed, and I've used it on websites other than Youtube in the past.
