I seem to have brought France's inefficiency with me, as it's Christmas Eve and no one else in my immediate family seems to have purchased Christmas presents yet.
Also, I gaffed and sent away the telephone guy, not knowing he was the telephone guy and that he was here to set up our new lines. I was under the impression our old ones were in perfect order, as I'd related the story to Mom just seconds after the fact to realize my mistake and rush out the door into the snow in my socks only to see dude's truck jetting off in the distance...
