It's time to get down to the business of getting a new job. The problem with this is, I kind of don't want to. But I need to. It's a grown-up thing, like eating vegetables or paying taxes.
I came up with a list of pros and cons of my current job, and it looks something like this:
Pros
Commute - door to door about 25 minutes
Hours - none of this 40 hours a week for no reason bull crap
Benefits - higher ed is great that way
Security
People - great boss, awesome coworkers, terrific students.
Like what the organization stands for
Freedom and flexibility, autonomy
Gym in the basement
Cons
Makes me bad at life.
Yup. That's about it.
