Chris had left after the funeral instead of going to the go-cart track because he was waiting for a phone call. Billy, his manager, had been trying to get him another set of tour dates. "Small, intimate venues. The girls will love it. And pay anything." Chris had agreed, only because he hadn't figured he'd be staying in Tree Hill long - or really have any reason to stay in Tree Hill. But then there was Brooke. He was starting to like her. Really like her. He sighed, knocking on her door softly. It was almost six and he wasn't sure if she was even home yet. There was no answer. He had figured they would have stayed out late, or gone and done something else. But luckily, Chris Keller comes prepared. He took the folded envelope out of his back pocket and stared at it. Her name was scrawled across the front. He almost felt like writing "For Your Eyes Only," but Chris Keller played it cool. He slid the note under the door. And turned, walking back to his car and driving away from Tree Hill to Raleigh, to get his next set of show dates.
Brooke,
I was hoping you'd be home when I came by, but I guess you guys were having fun. Billy got me a set of show dates and I'm leaving town for a while. I'm not really sure how long it's going to be for. Not long, I hope. I'll try to give you a call when I'm on the road...
Peace,
Chris Keller.
(OOC: ^ I was trying to make it sentimental in that Chris Keller isn't sentimental type of way. (:)
