When my professor played this song in my American Rock History class, I had to leave the room. I was gritting my teeth on my way out. Fuck The Eagles.
My dad used to sing and play this song every night, every goddamn night when I was a kid. Sometimes he still breaks out his Eagles dvd and blasts it in HD surround sound. I finally told my parents my feelings about this a couple of months ago and they said, "How is it possible to have that much hate for a song? Why can't you ignore it?"
I bought expensive headphones to block out the sounds, but they have not worked. Fuck The Eagles.
