what kind of a sick weirdo am i? attempting this at this indecent hour...

but, here, i have started, so i must continue.

ok, so i'm having some serious qualms about voting this year. nobody wants to hear this nonsense, but bear with me while i hash this out for myself.

let's start with the candidates...

gerg watrich - ind. this is just to let everyone know that this man's ENTIRE platform is anti-gay marriage. He quit the conservatives after Moore decided to vote for c-38 and has gone on a full-fledged attack on the (constitutional) rights of homosexuals.

"We are at a turning point. Same Sex Marriage is now law across Canada and it must be repealed as soon as possible. It is rapidly becoming beyond your right to criticize it. (Already, the Bishop of Calgary has been charged with a hate crime by the Alberta Human Rights Tribunal for issuing a pastoral letter to his churches defending traditional marriage)."

this is fully and utterly ludicrous and this man should not be representing any SANE peoples.

James Moore - cons. I personally kind of like Moore. He stood up for gay marriage and has done a reasonable job representing our consituency. However, a vote for moore is also a vote for the undead!! Ok, so Harper's not **technically** undead, but jesus...have you LOOKED at him? Perhaps God really IS smiting him for idiocy and crimes against Christianity (If i were God, i'd have PR put the kibosh on any associations with the Conservatives entirely...the man just screams 'aryan race' everytime i look into his watery blue eyes...)

Green Party - I didn't even bother looking up who our candidate is, because you can almost hear the toilet flushing when you drop a green party ballot in the box.

Mary Woo Sims - NDP Shani claims she's some superstar, but how many people have actually ever heard of this woman before? Also, voting for Layton's party just rubs me wrong after he went ahead and held the (federal) Liberals in limbo until they secured a promise on healthcare (which is provincial jurisdiction). That and joining forces with the undead to topple the liberals...

Which, barring all those non-parties like the libertarians and whatnot, leaves us with Liberals.

Jon Kingsbury is widely reputed to be a crook. This leads me to question his abilities as a viable representation of my best interests. Call me crazy, but the stigma of being the constituency sold to the highest bidder does not sound like a fair representation of the port moody-westwood-poco area...

thus, the crux of my problem. Do i vote 'party' and risk ending up with a crook or a crazy lady? Or do i vote 'individual' and end up with a brain-eating zombie? Or do i get really REALLY high before the poll and vote green?

as it is now 3am...i am in no state to determine the outcome of this truly terrifying situation. fortunately, i seem to have a bit of time before the dread event.

peace be with you, and happy new year! may we not be eaten by zombies before god rescues us.

(seriously, can't god, like, sue or something to get harper to stop using him?)
