I've been out tending to a couple of small errands and have returned home not long after my usual wake-up time.

I had to get up early this morning to be ready for a DART Paratransit bus ride to my therapist in Wilmington. DART Paratransit had left me a message Tuesday night about my rides to the Labyrinth Wed and my rides to the therapist today. I had trouble understanding the pick-up times given. Tying Up Loose Ends

I had a miserable Thursday afternoon, mostly thanks to Dart.

I've been a bit down since Thanksgiving. However, I can feel an unpleasant trend setting in -- isolation, dreading getting through the Christmas holiday yet again with no family, and of course just plain dreading sleet, ice and snow.

MOSTLY UPDATES1. The desktop still isn't fixed inspite of the fact that "X" -very- kindly helped me to load the OS disks via a zillion email instructions. His instructions were impeccable--so far as either of us know, --but my computer ("Zathras") first decided it didn't have a modem and then kindly gave me a nice blue screen ( Read more... )

I returned from the psychiatrist a little over an hour ago. I may add more later but here's a quick summary:

When he asked how I had been doing, I said I had been anxious and confused. He asked why. I said the anxiety was mostly already there, but the confusion started when he asked me two months ago why I was angry with him.

On Jun 19, "Down the Rabbit Hole", I said that my therapist and I had touched on my new search for a Spiritual Director but that, "We didn't actually discuss what I wrote down. She asked me something that sent us wa-a-y afield, and that lasted until the end of the session."
