"Hackers steal info for 72K University of Delaware employees."

More than 72,000 current & former UD employees had their personal records electronically hacked, the university revealed in an email Tuesday.

Social Security numbers & names were taken, Assoc Director of IT System Security Karl Hassler said. He said the issue was found a few days before the university publicized the incident.

How clever of them not to tell us at once.
