possessiveness is not an attractive personality trait. unfortunately, it's one of mine. reductionism: my life as a series of relationships wherein i cry out, you must love me best; you must love me only!
but humans really aren't built to love the way i need it. like a black hole, like a sink. the longing, the ideal, the endless clutching at coattails and hems. it's something i must try to remember, this poison. even though the knowledge doesn't change the way it feels.
