Looks like Barack Obama has clinched the Democratic nomination today, finally. Hillary, who continues test my patience, still hasn't conceded even though it's mathematically out of reach. It is absolutely physically impossible to be anywhere other than at total peace with the universe while listening to the Grateful Dead's "Box of Rain". I am right now the happiest camper on the planet.

American Beauty is the most wonderful album ever recorded.

Safely back from OVFF -- like that's a challenge, it's 20 minutes from home. A lovely time was had, many pictures were taken, and why are there no other bassists in filk? :)

Off to Ohio Valley Filk Fest! If I'm gonna see you there, you probably won't see this until you get back. :D

OVFF, just under three weeks away.

I haven't picked up my bass in anywhere from four to six months.

I have none of my traditional annual panic in the lead-up to the convention. Even though it's quite literally the only time I get to actually play with other musicians each year.
