Home is where the heart is
Back in Arizona.
My truck actually made it,and I have 40 bucks to my name,no job and I am now really sick,but atleast I am back here and atleast I can do my best to try and get my life together.
The trip was rather uneventful......I pretty much did the speed limit all threw Alabama,Misassipi and Lousiana......Lousiana was neat because you can buy mixed cocktails at the gas station,and I have never seen that before.
I never started speeding at all until Texas and then I made up for what I lacked in the other states.
I stopped around Dallas to take a break and spent the night at the finest hotel that $29 dollars could buy.......only saw a few roaches,and there was no hot water for my shower,but what can I say,you get what you pay for.
I woke up incredibly ill with a bad sore throat and a fever.......I ended up stopping in some small town that was celebrating the opening of a super wal mart and it was like the fair was in town.........what can I say about Texans....they are an interesting people.
By Abiline I was so sick that I couldnt drive so I stopped on the side of interstate 20 and took a nap feeling a bit better when I woke up.
It was raining all the way from west Texas to Phoenix,but I was so happy to see the bright radio tower cluster on south mountain as I approached Phoenix.
I drove up there to watch the sunset today......and even tho I am still pretty sick I was happy to be there again.
I got to meet up with some old friends today which was also really nice.
Hopefully tommorow I will feel better and be able to start looking for a job.
