(I know the photos look like shit, but the colors and shadows were neat and it's been a long time since I took pictures of anything interesting. I should do that sometime.)

The weekend's almost over. Friday night was fun. The Tricky show was pretty good, if not mind blowing. Myrrh and John seemed to have a lot more emotional stake in it than I did, and I fear were subsequently let down a bit. Actually hanging out with Myrrh, John (er, lx), Corwin, et al was a lot of fun. I like those guys. They're good guys.

Andy's shoot went well, though I was barely able to be useful again. Problem is, he's got too many skilled friends (of which I am one, but only one) and his productions are pretty straightforward, not the complicated productions I'm more used to (and more useful to!), and so I was sent home around one or two in the afternoon, after basically doing a lot of PA work and a bit of electrical at the WW offices. So, I got to nap before my late night drinks-and-dinner with birthday girl Katie. That was fun. She's always fun.

I've had the afternoon to myself, and I wish I could say I've accomplished more with it, but I had to fuck around with the laptop some. I returned the bag and I'm probably going to buy a Timbuk2 special order from their webpage (which means I have to decide on my own color scheme? hard!). I bought and installed a bluetooth mouse, now nervous that it will drain the battery when it's not plugged in. Since the DVD drive on the desktop just failed, I am now more dependent than ever on Frestón, which is probably as it should be. Hunching from the futon to this coffee table and working at the laptop is, in some way, unrelaxing enough that I do not become as complacent and I do not dick around on the internet for quite as long before returning to tasks at hand.

In a couple of hours, Liz Blake will call me and we will, I presume, go out for some drinks and catching up and random conversation and whatnot. (Three nights in a row of drinking. Yikes.)

In the meantime, I debate as to which project to focus on, or if I should just accept my lack of productivity for the night, return my videos to Movie Madness and put on the latest episode of Lost, still waiting for me.
