Closed; Valentines Day
Travis had been all out of whack since the music benefit, even more so after Natalie's drop by. Over the last five years he'd become very comfortable in the life he'd build for himself, throwing himself into his work during the week and bar hopping with Jake on the weekends (and most week nights too, actually) or just holing up in his flat when a new video game was released. It help him busy and that left no room to let his mind wander to thoughts of his sister, his father, or Natalie which, as of late, he had successfully avoided.
Of course, all of that had gone to shit once Jake confessed to sleeping with Natalie which, of course, lead Natalie stopping by to smooth things over but that had just blew up in both of their faces when the conversation turned towards their (failed) relationship.
They were going to give each other space to really think about what they wanted, figure out if they were just nostalgic, and that's what Travis had intended to do. But it was pretty damn difficult to work out his feelings rationally when Valentines Day was right in his face, all chocolate hearts and sappy cards, and as much as he wanted to deny it, the whole thing had brought him right back to that fifteen year old hopeless romantic he had been when he had been with Natalie.
He really couldn't help himself by getting into the spirit of things-
