I went to Home Depot in Yakima, and everyone was really friendly and helpful (and I was also sleep deprived, so I was pretty damn pleasant also. X3)
I got plywood, spent some time selecting WHICH plywood, and got it cut down to size. I got wire rope, found someone to cut it, had it cut, had end clamps selected. Got tile adhesive and grout, and a tiny trowel, and got briefly distracted by the painted accent tiles. Petted the area rugs. Chatted with the contractors. In general, went to Home Depot and got stuff.
The amazing part?
In, stuff, out, twenty minutes. Rod Stewart may as well have been my check-out clerk.
