Oh Crap!
Walking to work today, I experienced a first.. This isn't one of those great firsts like first kiss, first car, first vacation... oh no, this is not one of those firsts that you would ever look forward to or wish for, it is one of those firsts that just falls out of the sky... That's right.. a bird shat on me this morning on my way to work. Luckily those hand wet wipes that mom sent me were on hand and held me over until I could 'properly' clean myself up at work.. and LUCKILY the lovely treat did not fall anywhere near my hair.
I didn't let the fly by pooping get me down today though. It was my second day back after a 2 week vacation and my kids at school made me happy to be back. They were all so excited to see me! I got a lot of little hugs today.
I have had a pretty amazing week so far. When I got back from Japan, Jess was all moved in next door. So for the past week it has been like being in the dorms all over again. It's been great hangin' out with Jess.. just like no time has passed. This past Monday was a holiday at work. Jess and I (against 'quarantine rules') headed out into town. After shopping in Yongsan for some movies and a blender (to make my fruit smoothies with) we headed into Hongdae, grabbed some street food, and headed for some puppy love. Jess found this great cafe called "BAU house". This is a cafe that owns a ton of dogs and you can go, drink a beer or some coffee and just pet dogs. They let them climb all over everything and anything.. so you probably wouldn't want to eat there.. but it was fantastic!! They had big dogs, small dogs, cute ones and lovably ugly ones.. it was amazing!! I'm so happy that Jess decided to come and make for a fun summer before I leave Korea.
