I was going through some recipes this afternoon at work (I'm gonna learn to make pumpkin pie! Possibly, this week, cause there's something about baking in my own kitchen that gives me a sense of accomplishment...of course, then I don't know what I'll do with it because my entire family is on a diet 0.o
Originally I was thining I'd take it to work, but Tuesday morning is the Team meeting and not many people come in the rest of the week...hmmm, should have made it last night while I was bouncing around the apartment procrastinating more packing)Whoops-long tangent there :P

ANYWAYS! I randomly thought about whether or not people in Japan make pumkin pie so I went to the jpn cooking website I have and found a DELICIOUS looking recipe for Kinoko Raisu on the front page.

And that's when it dawned on me:

HOW THE HELL AM I GOING TO EAT FOR MYSELF IN JAPAN?!
If I can't cook, can't decipher japanese cooking recipes, and have issues with the measuring system all in one...OMG I'm going to die of starvation!! (Let's not have a repeat of when I attempted to make pancakes and half the town fire department showed up at my door in Musashi Sakai!)

I miss my Okaasan already. I wonder if she would be willing to come down to Kobe for a week and teach me how to cook?
