Trashy secrets.

I have a confession to make, trashy_eats . I love broccoli. LOVE IT. And I know that's about as un-trashy as it gets. But I managed to trash up some broccoli tonight pretty well!

First, take some chicken and put it in a baking dish. I had raw boneless thighs, but you could literally use any chicken--leftover fried chicken would rock. Season it with salt, pepper, savory, and garlic powder. Dump a package of frozen chopped broccoli on top. Cover this with massive amounts of shredded cheddar cheese (I used half a bag). Dump on one large can of cream of whatever you've got soup (I used mushroom) and sprinkle with more pepper/garlic powder/savory. Top with the rest of the bag of cheddar and bake at 350. I left mine in for an hour and a half to make sure the chicken cooked and because I like my cheese on top REALLY brown and crunchy, but an hour would suffice--if your chicken is cooked, just until warm and melty would work fine.

We ate this with leftover white rice from the Chinese joint and it was AWESOME. Sort of like extra cheesy broccoli soup with chicken in it.

stuff with stuff on top, casseroles, can of stuff with stuff on top, cheese... and lots of it, leftovers
