Hi guys, I'm new here so I apologize if this has been posted before but I checked the tags and I didn't see it. I love anything made with under three ingredients so when I heard of this one ingredient ice cream I just HAD to try it.
I found this recipe for one ingredient banana ice cream. All you do is freeze up some sliced bananas, blend it together while your bananas are slightly frozen, and viola, banana ice cream! I was very skeptical because I'm not THAT crazy about bananas but the banana taste wasn't too overpowering once they are frozen. The best part is that it has the creamy consistency of soft serve ice cream. The article I got the "recipe" from says that if you use over ripe bananas they can have an aftertaste so I wouldn't recommend that. This time I made mine with a bit of Cinnamon blended in, and I think next time I will try adding some nuts.
