Mmmmm, food porn.



This is rosemary potato pugliese fried with margarine, olive oil and nutritional yeast. I spread the margarine first, then the oil, and sprinkled the nutritional yeast on top and made sure it soaked up in the oil so it wouldn't be dry/loose when frying. It fried pretty fast-best to do it on a fairly high heat to get the browning at the edges-and nnnngh, so tasty.



I call this "Mushrooms in an Orange Bowl." deardotti made these with olive oil, paprika, cumin, chopped garlic, salt, and she didn't use it this time, but she also recommends cayenne. She fried the garlic in the pan first and then put it into the mushrooms and cooked them together in a grilling pan.



MMMM AVOCADO. And vine-ripened tomatoes.



I had to do a close up on the avocado seed because it looks so cool with the skin all fractured like that.



My sandwiches. Wildwood aioli, avocado and mushroom on the left. Garlic hummus, sprouts, spring greens, avocado, tomato, onion and pomanagranate-chipotle dressing on the right. UGH, SO GOOD. I'm so full of deliciousness.

Strawberry-mango-flax smoothie. A small box of strawberries, about 1/2 to 2/3 cup frozen mango chunks, something like 2 tablespoons ground flax, and, ummmm, 1/2 to 2/3 cup soy milk. I added in some agave at the end because the strawberries were kind of tart.
