My mother loves Esther Williams.

My they were young in that clip, but "I will follow" is probably the first song any new wave, alternative, indie guitar players have learned to play since 1980. Simple, but brilliant.

I think their early work was brilliant... they definitely stood out even when their sound wasn't completely unique.
