TransCEND

Hello!

I'm here to to a bit of promoting about an organization in the Boston area. (I'm pretty sure this is allowed, but if not, my apologies)
TransCEND is a safe space for trans women located right in Central Square.
I know many of the ladies there, and they are all wonderful people. The website was just recently put up, so I'm trying to help them get exposure. Clicking on the banner will take you to the site. The site is available in both English and Spanish.

Welcome to our new home on-line. We're just moving in. Please take the time to explore our site and let us know what you think. We will be looking for your input to add the finishing touches.

We are a community-based HIV prevention and health education program of Cambridge Cares About AIDS (CCA) by and for transgender women.

We know first hand how hard it can be to reach out for support so we’ve created a place without judgement or pressure where transgender women can feel included and part of our family.

We provide 1 on 1 counseling and group support, HIV counseling and testing, referrals to transgender friendly legal and medical providers, safer sex and injection supplies, hygiene products, complimentary cosmetics and have a welcoming community safe space which is open on the following days:

Monday 10am-5pm
Tuesday 10am-5pm
Wednesday 10am-5pm
Thursday by Appointment
Friday 10am-5pm

Not from Boston? Contact us anyway! We have a lot of resources and national contacts so let us know if you need support in your area.

Even if you aren't in the Boston area, check out the site, there are a lot of resources and information posted.
