Name Change query
Questions for you lads and lasses.
I'm moving back to Buffalo, NY on the 31st of March.

My guy lost his job over what was essentially slander done to him, but we've decided not to contest it and just move on with life.
Aaaanyhow...I REALLY wanted to have my name change done. NY is horrible for name changes, as you have to have had SRS to do so and I'm not even on meds yet.
So...my question is...
if I went down in the next few days to file a name change claim...do you think it would go through before I moved? Since apparently, as far as I know, you have to show up in court... the time it would take to clear is my concern.
