Pineapple-banana iced smoothie

I eyeball things when I make these, so if the proportions look off to you when you’re measuring things, adjust accordingly. When I finished, this filled just over an 8oz glass (probably about 10oz).

+ about 3 tablespoons ground flax seeds (to give it a smooth texture and omega-3s - a coffee grinder will work perfectly for this, about 8 pulses)
+ about 1 1/2 tablespoons of soy protein mix (optional)
+ 1 medium-ripe fresh banana
+ about 1½-2 cups fresh pineapple slices
+ 6 large chunks of ice
+ 1-1½ cup rice milk (I used rice dream)

Very light, frothy, and FREAKING DELICIOUS. Possibly my favorite non-yogurt one to date.
