The world had come back into sharp focus, all the details she'd taken for granted, the mazes of flesh and bone replayed to her ad nauseum spilling out onto the floor along with the liquid warm from the all consuming sac that had housed her for so long. It had almost been as disorienting as when she had curiously walked into the mechanisms awaiting arms.

And now she was… Lost? Again. And amongst the new hallways she felt so small. So tiny. Eve was almost doll-like. All gold hair and blue eyes and still with that small hint of baby fat still on her cheeks. No wonder amongst the large pillars of sinew she felt so intimidated.

She also remembered cake; the promise of the strange sounding reward. But she’d found nothing yet. Unless it had already been given to her? Was she given anything? Was that why she was in all those unfamiliar places?

Nursing a sore head Eve did was she had become accustomed too. She trudged on through the hallways, without a clear destination or a word of complaint and awaited the arrival of cake; whatever it was.
