The Winds of Fuuto (Open)
It was not uncommon for Phillip to go driving when he was lost in thought recently. Between Ren becoming a kid again and his reuniting with Hoshi on his mind, he had driven aimlessly for hours across the vast city.
As he turned down a road, he frowned a little at the appearance of charred wood coming into view. Pulling to a stop, he removed his helmet -- and froze.
There, sitting in its burnt out glory, was the Sonozaki Mansion.
A thousand terrible memories poured into Phillip's mind and before he realized it, he was sitting in the basement of the home, pushing a burnt out door aside. There, the well that lead into the depths of the Earth sat inert.
Running a hand across the surface of the well, he was not surprised to find it not responding. How could it? It was on Stacy and this was not the Earth.
Still, he began to move methodically through the burnt out remains, wondering why Stacy had brought it on board in this state, rather than in the splendor of the pre-fire state.
