The few times that Kang had gone to the Sensoriums and imagined up bits of home, he'd been careful to limit the appearances of anyone he was particularly close to. So far, only Granak and Riel had shown up; the only people he'd expressly banned were his mate and hatchlings. He'd felt that it would be too uncomfortable, too... depressing, seeing ( Read more... )

The Sensoriums sure were popular. Jr. looked around at the environment curiously when he entered and saw that it was in use already. "Kang...?" he muttered under his breath when he saw one of the Draconians passing by. There was no question about that.

When he spotted the house, however, his eyes lit up and he smiled. "Woah ... awesome!"

The door was open, and inside could be heard growls, squeals, and laughter. Kang was on all fours, chasing the hatchlings around with a grin, "Careful, or the bear's gonna get you!" Fonrar watched with her own grin, her tail curled around her feet.

He squinted his eyes, trying to get a better look inside without getting too close to the door - he didn't want to look entirely nosy. (Though really, did that matter if he was looking in anyway?) He noticed Kang right away, and ... little-- His kids?

Jr. felt a mix of emotion when he realized what was going on. He felt bad ... because Kang, like everybody else allied with him here on Stacy were fighting to get their loved ones back, and having kids must have hurt that much more. But Kang's look of happiness, even if this was the Sensoriums, was heartwarming.

Fonrar spotted the human first, and immediately stood up, eyeing him warily, "Who are you?"

Freezing, Kang looked up, and scales clicking quietly, stood up as well, obviously embarrassed to have been caught like this. "Ah, Jr. It's alright, Fon, I know him."

Jr. faltered, giving Kang and awkward smile and rubbing the back of his neck.

"Ahh, oops. I didn't mean to stare, sorry."

"It's... it's fine. I just wasn't expecting anyone to find me here," Kang shrugged, motioning Jr. in. "Come in. This is my mate, Fonrar, and our hatchlings."

It was a strange idea, interacting with others conjured by the Sensoriums, but Jr. figured that considering what the Sensoriums were, it wouldn't feel like it sounded.

"Nice to meet'cha, Fonrar." And then he took a look at the hatchlings - he was glad to see what they looked like after hearing about them before. "So these are the kids, huh? They're so cute!"

Fonrar relaxed a bit and smiled in greeting, though she didn't take her eyes off of Jr. as he came in, "Well met."

"Yeah, but they're a handful," Kang grinned. "They get into everything."

He leaned over, hands on his knees to get a better look at them. "Heeeey there guys. Hey Kang, Which one is which so I know the names to the faces?"

Three of the hatchlings made their way over to Jr., curiously. The fourth stayed where she was for a moment before edging over to her father. Kang sat down and picked her up, setting her in his lap, "This one's Kali. She's a little shy. The others are Brevo, Yana, and Grosk." He pointed at them respectively.

Grinning, Jr. waved over to Kali, first. "Hi Kali!"

Getting down to one knee now, he turned his attention to the three curious parties. "It's good to meet all of you. My name's Jr." It was strange talking to kids for him sometimes. Though he'd had enough practice and experience running the foundation to know enough when dealing with him, personal experience as a kid himself was a little lacking. "You all sounded like you were having pretty fun in here. What kind of games do you like to play?"

Fonrar relaxed a bit more, and took a seat, "They can't speak yet, they're only a month old."

"...they like to roughhouse. Be mindful of their claws and fangs," Kang cautioned, smiling.

"What age do they start learning to talk by?" he asked Fonrar curiously.

"We don't know," she said simply, watching as they started trying to climb up on Jr., poking at him with their little claws. "They're the first natural generation."

Natural? Jr. gave a small, curious tilt of the head, but didn't speak beyond that for a couple of reasons. Mainly because 'natural' gave him a weird feeling since for him that meant something like genetics or cloning or shady things like that. Secondly (and by proxy) because it was a touchy subject for him, so considering Kang was here to relax it was probably better not to ask. Even though it might not mean anything like that at all.

"Ah," he nodded as he sat down completely, crossing his legs. In turn he moved his hand down to give a small poke back at one of them that was more of a brush if anything - he didn't know how strong the young ones were despite how they looked.

Kang picked up on that curious look. It didn't really bother either of them, and he shrugged, "We were created from stolen dragon eggs, by magic. We've only been around for about forty-five or forty-six years."

The hatchling squeaked and grabbed onto his finger with a pretty strong grip, and the others attempted to clamber into his lap, prodding at his clothing and reaching up to tug on the earring.
