愛は勝つ (Ai wa Katsu) = 壯志驕陽 // Deja vu = 情熱 (Jounetsu)
I feel so accomplished just finding the name of this Chinese song hahaha... because I hummed it to my mom and even she forgot the name. She only told me it was 張學友 who sang it. I managed to find it just by vaguely remembering two words in the lyrics of this song that even my mom forgot.
So here's a post to it because I've come to love both versions, the original Japanese and the rewritten Chinese one.
The Chinese lyrics are really cheerful, meaningful, and encouraging. I can't summarize the song because it's too good, can't seem to pick out just one sentence to say. I'd have to translate the whole song if I do describe this song (which I am bad at... but I did it anyway. Please forgive the bad translation because it's a very literal tranlation).
I sort of get the idea of the Japanese lyrics too... it's encouraging too! Not in the same way as the Chinese one exactly but it's still good. =) Growing up hearing the 張學友 more, of course I like the Chinese version more because I like the lyrics...

Now I'm into finding all those Chinese songs that came from Japanese songs. I found several sites that put up a list. Hope I can find some more. =) I'm somehow so interested. I was so shocked when I found out [ 李克勤 - 紅日 ] was from a Japanese song [ 大事MANブラザーズバンド - それが大事 ]. And here I was thinking that at least that one was original... And [ 張學友 - 每天愛你多一些 ] is from [ サザンオールスターズ - 真夏の果実 ]!! So interesting! XD

Oh! Did I mention that one of KinKi Kids' song is taken from a Croatia composer?? I found it interesting because it's one of the only 2 KinKi Kids songs I liked and kept (which could've been 7 years ago approx before I actually started liking KK!!).

And of course the original was better. lol. Even though I like the KK song a lot, the original is still better in this case somehow. Maybe it's the unique KK PV and dance for this song. They've had much better ones than this... but the song is good so I didn't care too much about the PV. It did make it to #1 in Japan. Although the PV is er... no comment lol.
