Digimon!?
So I know this is kind of lame for some people... but I recently rewatched Digimon again because I saw this on the KinKi Kids group. I can't believe it either!!! So I rewatched that ep as well and it's true!!! A KinKi Kids advertisement poster does show up in the episode. So crazzzy... It's Episode 33 of Digimon Adventure, the time they were walking around Shibuya looking for Patamon.
From the time I watched my first Digimon series in Japanese only before seeing the English, (which was Frontier by the way), my files date back to 2005. It's been such a long time.... yet I still love Digimon!! Those series will always have a place in my heart!! I rewatched some Adventure, Adventure 02, Tamers, and Frontier episodes and I still cried during some of the episodes... so sad... lol.
I recently got most of the episodes of Adventure and Adventure 02 series in Japanese. The sub group I got it from before never finished but I found a new group that subbed the DVD version of the entire collection of Adventure and Adventure 02!!! So happy!! Now I have season 1 in English (low quality) and Japanese (DVD) and Season 2 (DVD) in Japanese. Tamers is still being subbed which is sad because I think this is the series I really want to watch but didn't watch entirely really. I know how it ends and such but I don't know much details inbetweene.
Listening to the song and reading the lyrics of "Brave Heart" by Miyazaki Ayumi (宮崎 歩) once again touches my heart... they are written very beautifully for a kids' series... it is the song that plays as an insert song for Digimon Adventure (Season 1) when digivolution occurs most of the time. (In the English version, they replaced it with the song "Hey Digimon", which isn't as good as the one below but it's part of our childhood so it can't be bashed too much.) There are surprisingly a lot of encouraging songs in most of the Digimon seasons... I hope to post all the ones I like here one day. =) Like "With the Will", "3 Primary Colors" and "Butter-fly"!! I hope it at least encourages you, meikimari! It made me think of you haha. =) However it still is a Digimon song.
