Horror shits
Ok so I’m really pissed, I mean really pissed. For the following reasons:
1. We finished shooting the next film
2. It’s shit, I mean, it’s shit house.
3. the Lighting, its shit
4. the angles, their shit
5. the sound, shit
6. shit
7. shit
8. shit
9. shitty shitty bang bang… ya know, just plain shit
I mean this new film is a testament to how shit a film can get. I went into this project hoping to act professional with my group, actually following the story boards this time and planning the film properly, step by step, frame by frame. But no, none of that happen. Everyone is so uptight and controlling. I mean, when you make story boards you’re meant to stick with them not go off and shoot different shoots and angles. It just defeats the purpose of using them in the first place. And when you make a script you also stick to it, not suddenly decide to change the ending, or even worse rewrite the whole thing on the spot while shooting the film.
That’s exactly what happen with our latest horror flick. We just lost the plot and went off track. We ended up fighting and debating shots rather then just shooting them. Man that pissed me off. I mean with all the times we spent debating and fighting we could have actually shoot a lot more then we did. Stick to the plan people! Don’t just suddenly change the script while shooting the fucking film. I mean I’m cool with new ideas concerning cinematography, anything really, just as long as it doesn’t change the story and what we are trying to portray to the viewer.
So that’s why I’ve given up with this project and have also resorted to stepping back from my own ideas for a while and just work with other peoples scripts. I’m not giving up on myself just yet I’ve just decided I’ll prefer to work on other skills other then directing for the time being. Like being the camera man, or producing/organizing, editing, sound, shit like that.
