I feel emotionally heavy,
Disappointed,
Flattened and despondent with new meanings.
I don't know where to place my burden, or if I even can place it anywhere.

I woke up this morning with mascara streaks down my face, feeling empty but wholly incapable of containing anything additional.

This is different than the times before.

It's cold, gray, and rainy...
I feel almost instantly transported back to Scotland.

The current Westtown seniors are leaving on their senior projects today, and I thinking of how it's been a year already since I flew off to a branch of our family that I had never met or hadn't seen since I was 1.
