Well, if you hadn't read Catherine's journal you probly wouldn't know but her uncle died from pancriatic cancer last thursday. by no means a good way to die. I personally remember him as a nice guy and even when he was doing really bad he was tellling jokes to try and cheer people up. If there is a possitive side to all this it would only be that I got to really know all of her family really well, and that I know Catherine had someone there for her through all of this. The people from the morge actually needed a little help getting Jerry down the stairs on the way out so I carried him for a little. Quite a change from having to always help him get upstairs. I only think of it now, but I helped him on his last trip up and down those stairs...
His, I guess it would be, funeral was on Monday and Chris, Jess, and Blair attended. And of course the rest of the family and I did too. But Catherine gave a very good speech(?), and although she says she cried, and she did, I was very proud of her for giving such a well done memorial. It wasn't the first funeral I had been to, but it might be one of the best. I dont know how that last line comes out to you guys but I obviously dont mean it like a party.

I love you Catherine (13 months today)
Tim
