Gamer: I ended up seeing this movie today because ever since seeing GB in The Ugly Truth, I have a tiny little crush on him. *shrug* It's too bad he picks movies that are totally not my style, but oh, well. The movie was...not great. Both GB and Michael C. Hall (added bonus, by the way, that he was in it) were very good and MCH did a sarcastic little song and dance number near the end that I loved, but the movie, itself, was definitely forgettable. =/

I think I would've been very much surprised if you had liked the film overall. :) That's what you get when you start "falling for" the bad guys like Gerard Butler. ;)
While I like in general the basic set-up of the story I don't think I'll particularly like its execution. Not entirely comparable but it reminds me a bit of the old classic "Rollerball".
