Damn, this looks good.

"Then again, there probably would barely be an intelligible sentence be spoken."

True, but one could optimistically expect lots of Bush's trademark, and highly inappropriate, giggling/smirking:

"Mister President, do you realize how many US and allied servicemen perished as a result of the unlawful and unprovoked conflict you initiated in Iraq?"
"Heh, well, heh, it was a war, heh, you know."
"Would you like a banana now?"

Ooh, and on a totally different matter, the latest Transporter 3 trailer is very tempting, but the IGN streaming version stutters like a bastard. Is there a decent QuickTime file out there somewhere?

That guy looks so insecure every time he has to say a full sentence it's (still) unbelievable.

Re Transporter: It's the same teaser as the French one (only with English text and slightly skewed aspect ratio). I can offer you the .flv version but for the hires quicktime you unfortunately still have to be registered. But now that the teaser is officially released in the US I would expect a hi-def version to surface soon on the usual sites.

Downloading! (Cheers, mate.)

It's the 'explosive bracelet' plot McGuffin. I just can't get enough of that...

Look for it in toy stores this Christmas season. ;D

And when I see Michael Sheen in the Frost/Nixon trailer I automatically think Tony Blair. ;)

I first thought I'm watching scenes from a Monty Python sketch. ;D

If I forget for a moment that I don't like crowded theatres I'd try to get tickets for that movie too. Your credentials will hopefully allow you to get tickets. And give us the opportunity to read an early review of the movie. :)

Frost/Nixon looks really interesting.
I've seen "The Queen" and "The Last King Of Scotland" and both were really good, though "King" infuriated me, not because it was a bad film but because Idi Amin Dada was such a monster.
Great screenwriter, fantastic-looking cast, and Ron Howard.
Yeah, this should be a keeper. :)

It sure does. After I saw the trailer I wanted to see the movie immediately and that hasn't happened too often in the last couple of months. :)
Peter Morgan seems to have a hand for this kind of movie.

Yeah, me too! :D
I was, like, "I gotta rent this! Oh wait, it's not even in theaters yet!" LOL

Did you hear about Jean Reno being hospitalized in Martinique?
He was on vacation and became ill and they flew him to Fort-De-France.
It was only a really bad case of heartburn though, thank goodness.
The old boy is 60 years-old! He must lay off the spicy food. :)

I had heard that there was a problem but I didn't know the details. Ah, the Savoir vivre. Sometimes it takes its toll. ;)

There was a trailer for this most recent, "stylish" looking, French movie.

I had no idea they were making a movie about the Secret Life of Bees. I guess it should be expected for every big bestseller. I loved that book... I hope they do a good job with it.

It probably is a fair assumption that they will try to make every decent selling book into a movie these days. :)

That reminds me ...

Bees: That looks very sweet (no pun intended) and I'm happily impressed that Dakota Fanning is getting roles now that's growing up past her cute little years. :)

I had similar thoughts about Dakota Fanning, she seems to have left the kid roles behind her. :)
