Damn, this looks good.

"Then again, there probably would barely be an intelligible sentence be spoken."

True, but one could optimistically expect lots of Bush's trademark, and highly inappropriate, giggling/smirking:

"Mister President, do you realize how many US and allied servicemen perished as a result of the unlawful and unprovoked conflict you initiated in Iraq?"
"Heh, well, heh, it was a war, heh, you know."
"Would you like a banana now?"

Ooh, and on a totally different matter, the latest Transporter 3 trailer is very tempting, but the IGN streaming version stutters like a bastard. Is there a decent QuickTime file out there somewhere?

That guy looks so insecure every time he has to say a full sentence it's (still) unbelievable.

Re Transporter: It's the same teaser as the French one (only with English text and slightly skewed aspect ratio). I can offer you the .flv version but for the hires quicktime you unfortunately still have to be registered. But now that the teaser is officially released in the US I would expect a hi-def version to surface soon on the usual sites.

Downloading! (Cheers, mate.)

It's the 'explosive bracelet' plot McGuffin. I just can't get enough of that...

Look for it in toy stores this Christmas season. ;D

And when I see Michael Sheen in the Frost/Nixon trailer I automatically think Tony Blair. ;)

*G* Well, it's on my list for Santa.

Re: Sheen, yes I know what you mean - he's played Blair twice, now, too (the TV movie The Deal about his early relationship with Gordon Brown was excellent). Although, to be fair (and just from the trailer) he seems to have nailed quite a few of Frost's mannerisms.

Once again, many thanks for the links.

I sadly only know David Frost by name, as you can imagine, he wasn't very present here.

You're welcome!

Many thanks! Very interesting.

I noticed that I am more familiar with the way David Frost looks in the brief scenes between the original interview pieces.

Pleasure!

Yes, he started showing his age (some say "going to seed") in the '90s, although his Breakfast With Frost Sunday morning TV show was required viewing, even when he had problems with the autocue. *Rolls eyes.* Mainly because - wily old sod that he remains - his political guests invariably chose the programme as a vehicle from which to drop the occasional bombshell! ;o)

I wish politicians here would drop a bombshell now and then. Or at least get hit by one. ;)

Sentiments with universal appeal, I don't doubt. ;o)

It didn't take long for Gordon Brown to brush zero economic growth here under the carpet, and rush to cash in on our Olympic "triumphs":

Any plans yet where you will spend the summer of 2012? :)
