My life has been turned on it's ear and shaken up. In september my mother n law was diagnosed with cancer, we decided it was time to move back home to be closer to family. We got everything lined up to move out to be with the family during the time my mother in law was failing in the hospital. She passed in late October. It takes time to sell any house, and things fall into place as they should when the time is right. Our old house sold right after Christmas, while we were with our family in the new location. The new house was purchased just after the new year. At the moment we are facing snow storms and very cold weather - as most of the US is. Most of our possessions are in storage while we fix up the new place to live in, and I am looking very forward to having my art table and supplies withen reach to play with. Watching my mother n law fail as she did made me realize I may only have a short time, and if I don't do something with what I have been given I may not get the chance. Mortality is something we all face during funerals and as we grieve - I am choosing to reach for the stars and hope to blaze a path of my own. I miss my friends dearly in our old place, and the shock of death and relocation is starting to sink in. However there have been so many serendipitous events that I am certain this is where we belong right now. 2007 is a new year, a new beginning and a new world to explore. I face it head on, artistic tools at hand, and my hair blowing wildly as I take a ride on a Dragon to seek the stars.
