Fish and other stuff...

Not fish sticks, smoked salmon, or fried haddock. Fresh water tropicals, specifically Neon Tetras. Now in our living room stands a ten gallon tank, waiting for the underwater plants to grow, and occupied by 10 little Neon Tetra's. They spent their first day pretty well settled in a corner, I think so the reflections would increase the size of their school for protection. This morning, they were all over the tank, darting to and fro chasing flakes of food.

Princess likes watching them, however it is taking a while to get through her head that she can't keep bumping the stand that they are on. Kind of shakes their world.

Work goes well, although my time here is running out. I am still not happy with my resume, and as such, it has not been sent out yet. I need to get on the stick with that.

Found a shop that is sort of like a good will store, except benefiting Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Browsed their book collection, and picked up a Tom Clancy hardcover for just $2.99. It is one I have listened to on Audio Book, but it was an abridged version, so I am digging into the full printed version.

I need to work on regaining my focus on things. once again this weekend was too much on the go, even if it was a 3 day weekend for work. I am exhausted. We need to learn to stay home and relax a bit more, but not this week.

Tomorow I have school again, and Thursday I get to make a trip to Logan airport to pick up the Florida contingent of B's family. Friday, not entirely sure what is going on, B may be traveling for the day, and Princess at my moms to visit. Saturday is going to be Princesses B-Day party, a few days short of her actual B-day, as well as B going to school in the morning.

I am uneasy about celebrating Princesses B-day with all that is going on. I think the focus of the visiting family should be B's Mom, not the munchkins B-day. Princess will have many more B-days, and would not be offended that her party didn't happen. Just my opinion, I am sure I am in the minority.
