Or some ridiculous crap like that.
I am dealing with my first issue of someone using my art in an unauthorized manner. No, they're not saying it's their art, nor are they butchering it stupidly. They're just posting it(only two pieces of mine) on a website called Webshots, in a gallery which people can order the pictures put onto tshirts, mugs, posters, etc.
I just got done notifying some other artists whose work I saw in this gallery, and after this, Im' going to go tell her I want my art off her gallery, now-ish.
**UPDATE**
One of the places I went, to mention this was Mernac.com, since I also saw art taken from there. The owners of mernac asked me to let them handle at as Mernac.com, and I was all about letting them. So, immediately all of that person's galleries got taken down, and apparently the person was notified of their violation of copyright, and I believe that Mernac.com will be issueing a press release about the incident.
I'm really thankful that the guys at Mernac are so willing to jump in the fray for our rights, it's heartening. :)

I'm vaguely flattered that someone liked my art enough to do this, but that goes away fairly quickly when I think they've set it up in a way that they can make money off my art, without my permission, and apparently without my knowledge, even.
Meh.
