So the Great Facial Hair Cycle continued a couple days ago. No more beard. It will grow back because that's what beards do.
Also, I applied to be an Orientation Volunteer next year, which would allow me to once again go back to school early and be there to help out during (guess what?) orientation. When do I find out? No earlier than April 14th. Feels like a rather long time from now, yeesh.
Fun fact: I've been having issues sleeping recently. Not the silly college student kind (i.e., staying up all night instead of going to bed), but the other insomniac kind (i.e., lying in bed all night without falling asleep). It's pretty awesome. After this weekend I'll probably go to UHS and see if they care.
This weekend is Simcon! UR's own gaming convention. It might be awesome. It might be terrible. It might average out to okay. However it is, it will be interesting...
In other news, it's the season to be declaring things. I've emailed the person I need to talk to about declaring my major, and I've talked to who I have to talk to for one of my two minors. It will be weird... I'm in the system as an unofficial English major, because that's what I went in as, but now I'm going to stop getting English major emails.
Crazy: Part of talking to my minor advisor for Greek is figuring out whether (here comes the crazy) I can manage to expand it into a full Classics major. The answer is: maybe. How insane would that be?
Speaking of Greek, we're not actually doing Lysistrata next semester. My professor was all "Would you rather do something else of Aristophanes's?" and a few classes later was all "By the way, changing to The Birds." So whatevs.
Uh... That's all for now.
