Season two of Haruhi~
Okay, so there was a lot of drama over whether season two would ever air. Note that it's been three years since season one. Then, a little while ago, the marketing people did something a little silly... they put out an ad that said basically "we're going to announce something in THIS edition of THIS magazine!" People got all excited... and then the announcement turned out to be "we're re-airing The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, but this time in chronological order!"
Oh, were the people mad.
There were rumours, though, that there would be new episodes stuck between the old ones. And so the re-airing began. And continued. In chronological order.
Then, May 21. The eighth week. Instead of Mysterique Sign, the eighth chronological episode of season one... Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody aired. A new episode. A new episode that happens to be, in the grand Haruhi continuity, eighth chronologically... as Kyon experiences it.
Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody also happens to be really important, so it's kind of fitting it's the first of the new episodes to air. Of course, after that episode there are three more weeks of old episodes before the next new one... but eventually the old episodes will be over and the main plot of the second season can really kick in.
...How long until we get an official English dub, again?
