[As much as Claire might want to stay in her room and not think about this whole 'game,' she knows that's useless. She has to get around and hear what people are saying or planning, but she has to admit that no good solutions have come up so far

Aren't these the victims, though? [Claire definitely recognizes both the girl who she ran in one while she was dying and the guy who looked like he could have been a carnie.]

They probably already did that... This is just like rubbing salt into the wound.

But they didn't give us one and ... we'll find our way out here ourselves, by winning the game!

True. Nobody can force you to.
But I don't think that there are many who enjoy this whole situation.
