Bowling for Columbine?
Someone brought this up in my class the other day, and I couldnt get it out of my head, so I thought I would share it with those of you who actually cared.
The media and movies such as "Bowling for Columbine" are nothing but mere shit, to make the public pour an outcry to get all guns banned from the United States. If people only truely knew (and those who are educated, as myself know) about this sort of discrepency against the citizens (that means you and me) in the United States, people would be outraged. I have read many of stories and heard many of things in my support for gun use.
But nothing has bothered me greater than whatr we talked about the other day.
You know the part where the kids and Michael Moore go into the Wal Mart to make a fuss about the bullets that hit the kid? That part really pisses me off to no end.
This already is swaying someones view to think that "OH THIS IS TERRIBLE, THEY CAN BUY GUNS AT THE LOCAL WAL MART, SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS.."
First of all, Michael Moore is nothing but a copy and paster, with nothing but an agenda to reach Shock value towards a certain type of audience. Its nothing new. There is nothing wrong with it, but he makes films, I wouldnt consider this presence to be truth. As the mount of times he has probably edited shots and picked people to play certain rolls and paid people off to say certain things for his so called "documentary" it makes me wonder.
Why the fuck would people believe that because a kid who carried a sawed off shot gun to school, would make wal mart responsible for the bullets that were sold to be used in that gun somehow?
If we were all allowed to carry guns, just like swords, back when people knew what the fuck they were doing, this probably would have never happened because people would have been too afraid to get shot back at. The more people try to cover up or get rid of a particular aspect of life is when people try and push against that grain.
Lets look at prohibition, which is one BIG example of this. What happened? Crime increased not decreased.
Taking away guns only gives the government or criminals a reason to take over other peoples lives.
In Sweden,they are smart. THE GOVERNMENT REQUIRES THEM TO OWN AT LEAST ONE GUN. In case the government ever uprises against them, Like as what happened in ... NAZI Germany. They disarmed their Jewish citizens as well as others, to be able to take over the task of actually dominating them as a people.
Its like a vice that will never go away. The more people are uneducated about a certain inalienable right, the more they go against it and destroy anything that could be protecting us.
I know for sure that I am taking shooting lessons when I go home. And I cant wait. Because, I know for sure that I dont trust most of humanity and the government that I live under. And If I ever had to use it for my own protection, Id be damn proud of it.
Trying to take away guns is like trying to make kitchen knives illegal, just as many people get stabbed by knives as they do with getting shot with guns, but it just as easy to control and rid the US citizens of their right to own something that may be more powerful than just a knife in their defense if anything would occur.
