Tracy - because I am older and, therefore, theoretically wiser than you, I should tell you that these moments in which we feel like our lives are falling to shambles tend to be the moments from which something incredibly positive emerges. That you don't know it now, but you're probably at a really exciting turning point.
But, you're going to find that out on your own before too long, so I won't! Until then, hang in there. And I hope your cat comes home.
Thank you Cristin. :) I'll muddle through, theatre professors will never collaborate on their curriculum. All these projects/auditions/runs of shows will be over this week & if nothing more than an easy week comes from it, it'll be worth it. But I hope to goodness you're right. I bet you are. You're smart. It's good to hear from you & Steph, even if it is from an entry about Gay. Tell her I send my love.
Tracy, im glad im not alone in feeling a lot of the samethings. *except for the actor stuff. there im more in the technical stuff but similar feelings all around.* I'm really looking forward to doing our thesis together. there is so much going on before then that i have to keep stopping myself from spending all my time and energy on that and not what i have to work on right now. But I CANT WAIT! :)
i know me neither, so many people have been volunteering to do stuff too. Mallory wants to SM. Erin wants to play guitar. Mallory's b.f wants to musically direct. Wow!
I just wanted to tell you a few things to try to help you out.
We're in college. We are poor. Therefore, you are going to feel like your money disappears. I can't really tell you anything to give you confidence here, but I can tell you that you aren't alone becuase I have 10 bucks to my name.
You're funny. I like it.
I miss you, and you will be wonderful in Into the Woods. You aren't just a holder for brains and fatty foods, and in reality, every actor that I have ever met needs to increase their physicality and make their body more of a temple.
My advice to you is to continue working...to quote LC, "It will all work out"
