Nothing much has been going on around here. Been studying my hebrew flashcards (I realized that though I have finished book 1, I can't really start book 2 until I remember some of book 1's vocabulary. Sucks. Going to attempt to write my first essay in hebrew this afternoon, so Miryam can rip it apart tomorrow. Since I can't think of anything to write about that doesn't require unlearned vocab, I'll be writing about myself. Yep, I'm reverting back to 2nd grade, writing about my favorite things. Yeah, me!
Desperately wishing I could be sleeping at this moment, and not about to go to hebrew. Abby dropped our conversational hebrew class, and now it's just not as fun.
BTW Claire, one of my vocab words was "Selah" which, if I can remember correctly, means "rock." I've noticed that you use the word at the end of all of your entries. Does it have another spelling to make it a different word, or is it slang of some kind? Just curious.
Sorry for the pointless entry. I'm going to watch the State of the Union later, when I have 50 minutes to commit to it, and I'm sure angry comments will follow. From the 10 mins I watched yesterday, I'm already pissed. Stupid NCLB, and stupid George for thinking it's working. Or that the war is working, for that matter.
