We only have 2 days left in Paris so today was dedicated to shopping. :-)
We started the day at
Les Galeries Lafayette, a big, fancy department store. We mostly browsed, because everything is so freakin' expensive. I enjoyed their Gourmet store where you could buy really fancy pastries or Cup o' Noodles for $3.

We also did something nutty for the sake of maximizing the rest of our time here. We had Phine SKIP her nap today. WOAH, we're livin' on the edge. We walked around in the Marais and shopped and had lunch. We went to this crazy store
Picard where it's all frozen food -- just rows of freezers where you can buy almost anything frozen from Snails to Fois Gras.
We've been so lucky with the weather. It's been sunny and in the 60s/70s the whole time except for one quick rainstorm. Fortunately we were inside a cafe having lunch when that happened.
I am also very lucky to have Mia who speaks French. I don't know any French and am content having no idea what's going on most of the time. But at the same time I don't want to be the ass who comes to a country and speaks only English. I just keep quiet and let Mia do all the talking.
Ok I'm off to have dinner Mia made with our frozen Picard sauce.
