Apparently there are such things as Forequakes (earth movements that foreshadow an earthquake), which we had at 2:00 AM on Saturday (a mere 4.7). And then there's earthquakes...you know, that's when the earth moves and shimmies everything out of place in your house. We had that at 10:50 PM Saturday (a mere 5.6). Saturday and Sunday we got some much needed rain. It was lovely. I took full advantage it. I opened the blinds and let the gray light settle into my aparment. I lit candles (just in case).
