Yay for birthday fun
Well I know that my last entry was extremely bitter. This one is not going to be at all. I had the best birthday weekend EVER. Let's start back to Wednesday. I was kind of sad that I had to be here on my birthday but it ended up ok. I went to Ruby Tuesday with Terra and Aimee. There I got to order my first legal drink, a mudslide. Then afterward I went to the liquor store and bought some cheap liquor so that I could get my free test tube shooter. After that the 3 of us went to Highway and I got a free quart of beer for it being my birthday. Free drinks are great in my book. Thursday I came home in the afternoon. I didn't do much that day.. birthday related. Except got a great present from my parents. Friday Chris came home from school finally.. First he took me to the Golden Bull for dinner. Then we went to Summit Station (bar) but it wasn't all that. It was funny though because it was an older crowd and this like 70 something year old woman was SERIOUSLY breaking it down. She took off her turquoise button down sweater and everything. After that we just came back to my house and chilled out for a bit. Saturday was the big drinking event. In the evening I went over to my cousin Brian's to pre-game. Rona was my dd for the metro, thank you girl love u!! So her, Chris, my cousin Lisa, and Matt chilled at Brian's until it was time to catch the metro. Then we got onto the metro and everyone got so sleepy because of the long ride. But that's ok, as soon as I stepped off I was ready to go!!! We met up with Terra, Tommy, Toni (my mason girly), Toni's fiancee Jake, and Alisa at metro center. Then we walked, the long way I might add, to Tequila Beach and met up with Tina and Amanda. When we got to the club we were literally the first ones there. I wanted to get there early so we wouldn't have to pay cover. But I really didn't care, I was there with everyone I planned to socialize with. So as soon as we entered all of the girls took the first shot of the night: sex on the beach. Then Brian bought me some yagermeister shot that was so strong and tasted horrible. The rest of the night kind of blends together. It was the most fun I've had in a LONG time. Practically everyone got trashed. I even got Chris to dance with me. I really hope that everyone had a good time because I know I did. The end of the night didn't turn out too well since the bouncer harassed Chris and we had to leave. But that's ok because the night was well worth it. Afterward I got scared though. Brian was so drunk he was harassing homeless people and who knows what they are capable of. So I knew it was time to leave. We took the metro back and Brian passed out. Then Rona dropped us all off. Guess what, I never got sick!! I was so proud of myself. I thought for sure I would. Seriously, thank you so much everyone for coming out I had a blast. I love you all!!!! Sunday night was the big family dinner. 18 of us squeezed into a round table at Buca di Beppo. It was sooo yummy. Chris came too, which made me happy. I got lots of great gifts, good food, and had fun!!! All in all, my birthday was great. Thank you soo much to my family, Chris, and my friends for making it so special. Of course I'm still dissapointed that some could not make it out Saturday, but it was still a great time. And there are plenty of pictures to prove it.
